Sterling Silver 925

Sterling Silver 925

Our sterling silver jewellery is crafted from Sterling Silver 925, an alloy containing 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, commonly copper.

Pure silver is naturally soft, so the addition of other metals improves its strength and durability while preserving its bright, polished appearance. Sterling Silver 925 is a precious metal suitable for jewellery designed to be worn and enjoyed regularly.

Unlike silver-plated jewellery, Sterling Silver 925 is not simply coated with silver. The silver alloy forms the body of the piece and can be professionally cleaned and polished when needed.

Sterling silver can naturally tarnish when exposed to air, moisture, perfumes and chemicals. This is not a manufacturing defect and can usually be removed with a silver-polishing cloth. Store your jewellery in a cool, dry place and avoid contact with harsh chemicals to help maintain its shine.

18ct Gold Plated on Brass

18ct Gold Plated on Brass

Our 18ct gold-plated jewellery is crafted from brass — a durable and versatile alloy traditionally made from copper and zinc — and finished with a layer of 18ct gold.

Brass is valued in jewellery making for its strength and ability to hold detailed shapes and stone settings. The gold-plated finish gives each piece the warm, polished appearance of solid gold while remaining more accessible.

Unlike gold vermeil, which uses sterling silver as its base, these pieces have brass beneath the gold finish. They are not solid gold or sterling silver.

As gold plating is a surface finish, it may gradually wear depending on friction, moisture, perfumes, chemicals and individual skin pH. Avoid showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping in your jewellery. Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth and store separately to help preserve its finish.

18ct Gold Vermeil on Sterling Silver

18ct Gold Vermeil on Sterling Silver

Our 18ct gold vermeil jewellery is crafted from Sterling Silver 925 and finished with a layer of 18ct gold.

Sterling silver provides a precious-metal base, while the gold finish gives each piece the warm, polished appearance of solid gold. This combination creates jewellery that feels refined while remaining more accessible than solid gold.

Unlike gold-plated brass, gold vermeil always uses sterling silver beneath the gold finish. It is not solid gold, but the underlying metal is Sterling Silver 925.

As gold vermeil has a surface finish, it may gradually wear depending on friction, moisture, perfumes, chemicals and individual skin pH. Avoid showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping in your jewellery. Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth and store separately to help preserve its finish.
